They are advertising the game as a free app - which is true; but to play the game you need to register an account - FOR WHICH YOU DO NEED TO PAY.
In short its not a free game, nor is it that worth as compared to other games available in the App Store. Don’t waste your time - unless you have $ 9.99 to waste on a Minecraft wanna be.
